Scholas provides teachers with educational methodology tools based on listening, participation and play.
The prolonged confinement caused by the pandemic has shown the socio-emotional needs of students, teachers, and parents. It is for this reason that Scholas Occurrentes asks the National Directorate of Orientation of the Ministry of Education of Panama to carry out the workshop “A touch to the sense, we are going to listen to the heart”, a training for teachers where through an experiential experience the educator can learn pedagogical tools according to current circumstances.
The seminar given by Scholas directs this training to more than 100 professionals, among which are teachers, counselors, psychopedagogical offices and groups of the SAE Educational Support Service.
Scholas, an international organization that promotes an education for life itself, through this training seeks to rethink the role of the teacher by placing the student at the center of the learning process.
The teacher will learn the use of techniques and tools based on listening, participation and play, which they can apply with their students in virtual or face-to-face classes, allowing more playful spaces and joint collaboration. The training lasts 5 weeks with synchronous and asynchronous modules.
After signing a collaboration agreement, Scholas Occurrentes works collaboratively with the Ministry of Education of Panama, Meduca, in the implementation of educational programs to contribute to the development and future of thousands of young people and education professionals in Panama.
