From November 22 to 23, the event “Transforming Education:Ethics Education for Learning to Live Together”, organized by Arigatou International in partnership with various organizations such as Scholas Ocurrentes, KAICIID, the Higher Committee on Human Fraternity, Scholas Occurrentes, Religions for Peace, UN Alliance of Civilizations, ICESCO, Gerrand-Hermes Foundation for Peace, Ministry of Education of Kenya and Kenya National Commission for UNESCO, UNICEF and UNESCO.

The symposium aims to accelerate global action and support to prioritize ethics education as a critical aspect for societies to foster learning to live together, contributing to build forward better.

“Transforming Education” will bring together children and young people, religious leaders, policymakers, faith-based organizations, academic researchers, civil society organizations and multilateral agencies to reflect together, collaborate and accelerate global action to prioritize ethics education as a critical aspect to build forward better.

Today more than ever we need to recognize the role of education in building safer, equitable, and inclusive societies.

The symposium will provide spaces for dialogue and sharing to ignite programmatic actions at national, regional and global levels, working together with Ministries of Education and other education partners to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, (SDGs), particularly target 4.7 to foster Global Citizenship Education
