Every morning in February, from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the sea and beach school will be lived on the cliffs of Mar del Plata, Argentina, games, art and thought encounters, a series of educational experiences directed to boys and girls between 13 and 16 years old.

These activities are accompanied by the Municipality of Mar del Plata and are developed in collaboration with the Diocese of Mar del Plata; the Pastoral Surf; the Union of Mechanics and Related of Automotive Transport, SMATA; Mana Seguros Generales, and Laboratorios Pharmamerican.

The “Sea and Beach School” is a project promoted by young people from Scholas, who was born in Argentina, managed to cross the sea and reach Africa, more precisely Tofo, Mozambique, where a Surf School was developed that continues to operate. Today, that same sea brought them back to Argentina, but enriched by the experience lived in Mozambique.

The project “Surf with Values - School of sea and beach”, takes as its premise the game and what it tells us about life. The center is surfing, a game that invites you to listen, to create yourself and to celebrate, but there will also be art, game and thought activities.

The young people themselves will be the teachers in these classes. Diversity will be another of the characteristics of this school: boys who don’t know the sea will participate, but also boys from the center and north of Mar del Plata, from different socioeconomic levels.
